In an attempt to map out Nam June Paik’s life and artistic career, Jean Paul Fargier visits and documents various sites in South Korea, Germany, U.S.A, and other countries where Paik lived and worked. Inserted in this documentary is a scene showing the Changshin neighbourhood of Seoul where there used to be Paik’s childhood home; a scene in which Paik makes a comment watching video footage of his father’s shop and factory from the 1920s; and a scene of Paik performing his own compositions.
